Fees are payable in advance for the number
of hours booked. Payment by cheque or by credit/debit card. Card
payments will show on your bill as ELTS Languages, Winchester
and are subject to a surcharge of 1%. We request
a £30 deposit on booking as confirmation of your firm intention
to take classes with us. This is payable by debit or credit
card ONLY and is non-refundable unless we fail
to allocate you a teacher within 10 working days and you tell us
that you do not wish to proceed, in which case it will be refunded
in full.
Fees are not refundable, but you may postpone a lesson without loss
(but see further condition below regarding rate at which hours are
used) provided that you give at least 2 clear working days notice.
You should avoid postponing regularly. Lessons cancelled with
less than 2 working days' notice will be lost. Notification
of requests to postpone lesson must be give ONLY to our office by
phone message to 0845 450 4909 and NOT to the teacher direct.
We will inform the teacher.
We guarantee that if you want the
teacher to come to your home or office we will organise this, provided
that you live in or very near to (5-mile radius) one of the towns/cities
in which we operate. If you live further away we will still try
to meet your requirements, but cannot guarantee it. If you live
outside of our boundary we may be able to send a teacher
only on condition that they do a minimum 2-hour session.
Books and other materials
are not included in the price unless you pre-book a number of hours
which includes free materials.
We aim to have the same teacher teach you all the hours you have
booked, but especially where a lot of hours are taken
this may not be possible. Where it is necessary to change teacher
we will organise this to ensure as smooth a change-over as possible.
You should use your hours within a reasonable period. We normally
expect you to use at least 6 of your booked hours per month, including
allowed postponements. We reserve the right to curtail bookings
without refund where hours are not used up at a reasonable rate,
though we will act reasonably in such circumstances and may offer
an ex-gratia part-refund, at our discretion.
