Private Italian classes for children

Our children's courses are highly effective and great fun

There's nothing like starting early with any subject, and that is particularly true where language skills are concerned.  For children aged 5-10 we offer fun, lively Italian teaching which may include games and songs but is purposeful, building knowledge organically.

We focus mostly on listening and speaking, using techniques that children relate to.  Reading and writing are kept to a minimum, especially for the very young ones.  We come to your home.  A responsible adult other than the teacher needs to be in attendance.

Lessons can be one-to-one, two-to-one or in family groups. You might also want to talk to your children's friends' parents to get a mini-group together and reduce the cost.

We will need to talk through your particular case in relation to lesson logistics, but here are some example scenarios:

  • Jack, aged 6, beginner, Emma aged 7 with some basics - 45 minutes each, separately.
  • Eleanor aged 8 with some basics, Hugh aged 7 with some basics, Hannah aged 10 - beginner - 1 hour for Eleanor and Hugh together and 45 minutes for Hannah separately.

Call us to talk through the options for your children!

The Italian tutor will come to your home or you can go to the teacher, by arrangement.

Courses can take place anywhere in London or the UK.

1.5 hours minimum session unless otherwise agreed.

Testimonials

“I find 1:1 teaching ideal as the teacher shapes the programme to the way I learn things. The course is focused on what I want to achieve.”
